Purchase Policies:

Projector Supercenter strives to offer superior industry service, selection, and support. In the unfortunate event of a product defect, repair, return, or DOA, Projector Supercenter can help expedite the process with manufacturers. Due to our position and industry connections we will likely be able to assist you with a prompt and satisfactory resolution.  In addition, we offer exclusive projector rentals for customers who need a temporary replacement while their unit is being repaired. Please read and familiarize yourself with the below policies and procedures before making a purchase.  Projector Supercenter is usually quite flexible with these policies and strives to develop unique solutions tailored to benefit each unique customer.


Return Policy:

Projector Supercenter offers a 15 day return policy on select merchandise based on the conditions listed below:


An RMA number is required for ALL returns and must be clearly displayed on the shipping label (Do not write on the manufacturer packaging). Specific packaging and shipping instructions will be dispersed with your RMA number.  Failure to comply with packing and shipping instructions may result in an additional  restocking fee.  Please note that RMA requests must be made within 10 days or product delivery. To receive an RMA number please contact us.

Defective Merchandise or DOA:

If you have received a DOA or defective product please contact us immediately. We will do our best to resolve the issue as quick as possible. DOA claims must be made within 10 days of product delivery. Products must be returned in original manufacturers packaging with all accessories including unused warranty cards and manuals. Failure to do so may result in re-stocking or other fees. Different terms and conditions may apply based on specific situations or manufacturers policies. The defective/DOA product will be returned, repaired, or exchanged for the same make/model based on the discretion of Projector Supercenter and manufacturers policies.

DOA and defective unit policies vary per manufacturer. Please contact us and we will do you our best to resolve the situation as swift and painless as possible.  Projector Supercenter does not have the authority to extend any manufacturers DOA or exchange periods beyond the pre-specified periods. Note that certain manufacturers will not honor an exchange for any reason, only repairs will be granted.  This is not our policy and we cannot change it or make exceptions under any circumstances.

Non-Defective Merchandise:

Non-Defective, unopened merchandise may be returned at the expense of the buyer. Depending on the item, manufacturer policy, and circumstance, a restocking fee of up to 15% may be charged to the buyer in addition to return shipping costs. The restocking fee will be assessed and issued based on returned product condition.  No restocking fee will be applied to new products that are returned for in store credit.

Beyond 15 days:

Every projector sold by Projector Supercenter comes standard with a manufacturers warranty. Any defect or issue that you have with your projector or other item after 15 days must be dealt with through the manufacturer. Many manufacturers actually require that you contact them directly for information on repairs, replacements, or exchanges. If you have any questions about your products warranty please contact us and we will do our best to assist you through the warranty process.

Exchange program:

In most circumstances Projector Supercenter will accept projector upgrades with no restocking fee. The difference will be between the original purchase price and the purchase price of the upgrade. Customers are responsible for return shipping.  Upgrades will only be granted for projectors with fewer than (4) hours on the bulb. All returned projectors must be in original manufacturer packing with all accessories, cables, manuals, and packing materials intact. Failure to comply may result in a restocking fee. Exchanges must be initiated within 10 business days of product receipt.

Rental Program:

In the event that a projector purchased from Projector Supercenter needs repair or replacement, Projector Supercenter offers exclusive projector rentals at extremely discounted prices. Pricing and models for the rental program are based on availability, please contact us for specifics on your individual situation.


Certain merchandise as well as special or bulk orders may be excluded from the above return policy. Certain special, custom, and bulk orders are excluded from the general return policy.  These exceptions will be noted and made clear at the time of purchase. You can find brief outlines of these exceptions listed below.

Refurbished/OpenBox Projectors:

Refurbished/OpenBox items are eligible for returns as long as there have been no more than (4) hours put on the bulb since delivery.  If the projector lamp timer has been reset upon receipt we will return the item to you or subject you to a 20% restocking fee at our discretion. Anything greater than (4) hours will not be eligible for returns unless prior arrangements have been made.  All refurbished/openbox stock will be subject to a 15% restocking fee based on returned condition of the product and packaging. Buyers will be pay return shipping on all projectors returned. Generally, DOA/Defective products must be taken care of through manufacturers warranties. If Projector Supercenter has a large quantity in stock we may send a replacement and handle the repair ourselves to save you the hassle.

Lamp Returns:

Projector Supercenter will accept lamp returns if an RMA is requested within 3 business days of delivery. Lamp returns will be honored if the lamp is unopened in original manufacturer packaging. No open or unwrapped lamps will be accepted for any reason.  Certain lamp models may be subject to a 15% restocking fee.

Elite Screens:

Elite Screens will accept returns within 14 days from the invoice date.  All returns are subject to a non-negotiable 25% restocking fee.  Elite Screens, may, at their discretion approve an upgrade within seven days to an item of greater value. If approved, purchaser must receive an RMA# from Elite Screens.  Purchaser is responsible for all shipping costs/charges and/or duties incurred.  If requested, Projector Supercenter will gladly assist you with any of the above processes.

Cables, carrying cases, and other accessories:

Any of the above listed items will be accepted for return within 5 business days of delivery. A flat 20% restocking fee will be deducted from the refund amount. All items must be returned in new re-sellable condition. Please see the top of the page for RMA information.

International Orders:

All international orders (Except Canada) must be paid in full with a wire transfer before shipment will be made, please see payment options for more information. In addition, no returns will be accepted for international orders without prior agreement. Due to high shipping costs, insurance, and customs fees/duties, accepting returns is prohibitively expensive for international orders.

Items Damaged in Transport:

Projector Supercenter uses the most reliable and reputable shipping carriers available, however, occasional shipping damage may occur. Products damaged in transit will require the receiving customer to notify the carrier and Projector Supercenter immediately. Receiving customer must deny receipt of shipment until driver acknowledges damages in writing and signs all copies of the bill. A claim will need to be filed with the carrier and an inspection may occur within 5 business days. Every carrier has the right to inspect the packing before resolving a claim, therefore it is imperative that you retain the product, carton, and packing materials at the address where the package was delivered.  Do not throw anything away. Projector Supercenter will gladly provide any assistance throughout this process but we can not be held liable or responsible for filing a claim.

Pricing and promotion:

All projectors and accessories listed on "Projector Supercenter's" website are sold at the most recent prices available. Due to frequently changing inventory levels, delays, promotions, and manufacturer pricing , we are not able to offer any price guarantees or protection on any purchases.

Law and Venue:

Projector Supercenter shall be governed by the laws of the state of Ohio. Venue for any legal action relating to Projector Supercenter will occur in Franklin County, Ohio.

Policy Enforcement:

Failure by Projector Supercenter to enforce any of the above written policies does not represent a waiver of any portion of the companies policies.

Limitation of Liability:

In the event that Projector Supercenter lists a product in error, Projector Supercenter reserves the right to cancel the sale without assuming any liability. Common examples include: the sale of an item that is no longer available and pricing errors. In addition, Projector Supercenter will not be held liable or responsible under any circumstances for consequential, incidental, special, or exemplary damages in connection with Projector Supercenter products. Projector Supercenter liability is limited to the repair and replacement of defective products in accordance with Projector Supercenter return/repair policy.
